Emotional Hangover | FaithFacts

I received an email yesterday thanking me for my contribution to an online forum depicting real stories of chaplain experience. To be honest, the email threw me because I had no recollection of submitting any stories to any forum. I had to look back through the email to see the date I sent the original message – almost one year ago.

I also hate to admit that I had no recollection of what I wrote, nor did I remember the incident I wrote about until I re-read my submission. Now, I can recall almost every detail of that fateful day.

Here is a portion of the email I received:

I wanted to take a moment to personally thank you for your contribution to our newest project. Your insight, experience, and voice played a meaningful role in helping us bring this to life.

We’re excited to share that our brand-new page, “Chaplain Life,” is now live on FaithFacts.com:

This space is dedicated to honoring the vital work chaplains do every day—offering hope, guidance, and presence in some of life’s most challenging moments. We hope it serves as both a resource and a reflection of the powerful calling behind chaplaincy.
